  • Hide friends who don't have Dota 2

I have a lot of steam friends, most don't have dota 2 but I still have to scroll through them all to invite people to parties

It should hide people who don't own the game

But remember it's not going to be possible to check if the user has the game installed or not so.

Absence of brains detected. Those people will be in the list when they download the client. Problem?

The in-game friends list is far inferior to the standard Steam friends list right now as far as basic features are concerned. What I want most are to be able to search friends, view friends as you've tagged them in Steam, view groups, and as OP suggested - limit who I can see to those who own the game.

If there was just one change I would _really_ like regarding friends it would be to have inviting people via Steam actually function and invite them to your party; that alone would remove the dependence on the in-game friends list and thus solve most of my qualms by me never having to use it.
