  • Dashboard entering and exiting

When I first opened the dashboard during the game(or watching a game), I was quite pleasantly surprised seeing the ongoing game through the red surroundings. The thing I did not like, was how it opened, since there was no animation on it and it gave me an unfinished feeling, and it made me thinking, that it would look much better, if game would fade red and the different parts of the dashboard would slide in and then out when you close it. Especially if it were subtle and only took a second. Then it would be neater, would have a sense of being more refined and would hopefully not be a sore on the eyes. It could also work when game goes to the loading screen since it just jumps to the load screen as well.

With my sick paint skills(read as nonexistant artistic skills) i came up with something that looks like this:
(I took the picture from Cyborgmatts website since I'm in a library and I don't want to open the game, and I knew he had a good picture of the dashboard.)

Also on a similar note, I don't like what you see through the red background if you are not in a game, since it doesn't seem dota-related. Maybe if there would be some concept art on the background, then it would be more interesting(just a thought)?

PS: Sorry if this idea has already been posted.
