  • Remove the accept/decline match dialog

If you queue for a game, it means you're ready. Why do they have to ask you again if you're ready.
Sick of wasting 5 - 10 minutes every time we queue because one person doesn't press accept.

It's like you have to pass all these god damn tests just to get a game started.
20% chance that everyone presses accept.
    If you pass, then
20% chance that everyone finishes loading, else start from the beginning.

Finding a game should not be this damn annoying.

At the very least, move the dialog to before you search for the game, not after. Common sense really.

It was put there as a fail safe. Most people would queue a match then go facebooking while waiting for a match. It was put there so that when you press accept, the game verifies that the user is ready to play and is not doing anything anymore. Removing this would result to some afkers in the first minutes of the game.

It's funny how you give those arbitrary numbers that would lead to only 4% of all ready public games being played, and then talk about common sense.

Other than that mentioned I completely subscribe to what rnbv said.

How hard is it to auto maximize the game when it starts.
Warcraft III and Starcraft II did this.

And common sense should tell you that I pulled those numbers out of my ass.

BTW. People still alt tab away while waiting for the slow loaders. How bout we put another confirmation dialog after every ones finished loading?

The very first time I tried Dota2, I had to sit through 3 - 4 retrys before I finally got a game. Gave a very bad first impression of the match making system. An impression that I now see is well deserved.

          Keep the buttons.

Stupid idea to remove those - seriously. What are you thinking terryhau?
All those games that now fail because 1 or 2 people do not click ACCEPT, would otherwise result in people AFK-ing the first few minutes, and/or leaving, which would in turn lead to a lot of flaming, pausing/unpausing, and ruined games.

          Keep the buttons.

Was already discussed, answer was no because it would lead to more afkers.
