  • Hero Spell Database

    Helloooooooooooo DotA community.

I'm making this topic (and feel free to move it to it's proper location if this isn't the right place) to make a suggestion for a gameplay gadget that I think, would me most useful.

I have been playing DotA 2 for a long time, and I have to say that the item database were you can see suggested items for a specific hero and make a list of your own is a great idea. I would like to use that concept for another purpose.

More than one time I have had to play a hero which I haven't played for at least some time, and when it comes to that, most of the time it's annoying as hell to start remembering the way you liked to lvl up his spells.

Luckily, this isn't a problem with most of the heroes cause their spell lvling is obvious, but some need some well thought ways of choosing their spells.

Taking this in account, I would like to suggest a new window of some sort, just like the items one, maybe in it, that could pop up not just a list of custom made path of spells to lvl up, but even a suggested one for every hero to help new players, just like with the items. I'm sure most of you have seen players that don't lvlup or don't take priority on spells that are just the main role of a hero, it could be for many reasons but one of them could be not knowing the hero, a suggestion would prove useful for those kind of heroes.

I hope most of you find this idea as useful as I do, thanks in advance for any kind of support.

i disagree there are descriptions of every spell and if they want to learn how to play the hero he has to try and think. Dota is about choosing your own path so why recommend everything?

As with items, a recommendation for new players considering spell leveling should be given, I think you aren't thinking the way someone who pretty much doesn't know what he's doing does, an advice from people who know is the best option to start with in pretty much anything, later you can chose your own way of playing. Also this suggestion is more about having a place where you can save a custom build for every hero so you don't have to remember it with every hero, the helpful side for new players it's just a plus.
