    Terrible freezes after game played

    Hello everyone. First of all, I'm sorry if I've posted in wrong section or such topic already exists.
    So, here is my problem. I have 3 PC's (2 desktops and 1 laptop). I've installed Dota 2 on all of them. My desktops have same problem, after I play first game dashboard animations starts to lag so hard, that its almost impossible to press any button, moreover, if I tab to Opera or Skype it lags aswell. It continues untill I restart Dota 2. But on my laptop (its pretty old) everything works fine.
    PC1: i7 3820, Kingstone Hyperx 4x4 Gb DDRIII XMP! 1600, Zotac amp! GeForce GTX680 Win7 pro x64
    PC2: Core 2 Duo 3,0 Ghz, 4Gb of DDRII and GeForce GTS250 Win7 pro x86
    Laptop: Core 2 Duo 2,4 Ghz, 4Gb of DDRII and GeForce GT9800M Win7 pro x86

    PC1 lags less than PC2, probably due to better hardware, but still freezes are terrible. Laptop works good even after 4-5 games without Dota 2 restart.
    All drivers, directX and even Flash Player are up to date. Also, it doesnt matter what graphic settings I use, it lags same at lowest preset as well as on high ones.

    Guys, really, am I alone with this?

      No. I have the same problem. The UI behaves OK until I start a game. While in game and permanently after the game the UI lags. I have to click 5 times on the "match found" dialogue, just to make sure my click is registered because it moves at 2-fps

        Bump!
        I'm having the exact same issue!
        I have no idea why it's happening because when I played in my laptop (that's way older than my PC) it never behaves this way.

          just type in console dota_embers 0, this will stop animation on the background and you will get max fps

          p.s. you have to re-open 2 times console after you typed dota_embers 0 to stop antimation
