  • [ Suggestion ] Team ladder.

I would like to see a team ladder in Dota 2. I mean such features as:

    1. Players can form their own teams, set name, crest etc.
    2. Special bracket for formed teams.
    3. Matchmaking system, based on team rate (like arena in World of Warcraft).
    4. Kind of in-game chart and prizes for the highest places (some special in-game items).

I'm sorry for my bad english.

    Have a good day.

    I most certainly agree!

For a game such as DOTA 2 a good team making and ladder system is a must. It would not only be a great improvement to the game, it could also be a serious way of creating a powerful competitive community. From what I've seen, Valve is trying to make their game a big deal in esport world. A ladder would make everything much clearer for everyone.

A great example of such system was the one in Guild Wars. And since they just released the second title, I think it was quite successful.
It would be great to have something similar in DOTA2.

As far as I know an ingame team system is under development and is on it's way! (note the currently unused socialize tab in the main menu)

Also there's already a thread regarding the ladders:
