  • Menu not optimized for 1920x1200

Some time ago Valve changed the main menu to better fit 1920x1080 resolution. For example, there are three columns in your friends-list etc.
However, this doesn't apply to my resolution, 1920x1200. It's been like that forever, and I'm just wondering if there are any plans to fix this.

I find the friend list awkward to use regardless of resolution (searching or inviting via Steam would be fantastic improvements), but a triple-column friends list would certainly be easier than the dual-column; so as another 1920x1200 user. So, I support Tobi's question.

^ What's so awkward about it? It's ordered from a-z, other symbols coming first. Pretty simple and easy to use, imo.

As another 1920x1200 user, I WOULD REALLY REALLY LIKE the three column friends list..

Many things in Dota are not optimized for widescreen resolutions, including custom loading screens and HUDs.
For example, HUDs in 16:9 resolution show more details than in 16:10, which makes absolutely no sense.
Custom loading screens in widescreen resolution are not supported or enforced by Valve, and some of them
are even in low definition quality such as Flight of the Valkyrie featuring Legion Commander (which looks pretty bad).
Hell, even Steam profile backgrounds are not optimized for widescreen. So this doesn't surprise me one bit, actually.
