  • [Suggestion] Following tab in the new Community tab. (with Pictures)

Today's update brought us the Community tab. But I felt that it is still missing something: the Follow tab! I made a couple of mockups in Photoshop that are a good example of why we need this feature. I know this has been suggested many times, now that we have the Community tab its the perfect place to put it in. You can already watch games of players from the team profile tab, the ability to make your own tab with players you want seems like the next logical step.

TheVoices297 from reddit points out that anyone in the team profiles can be spammed "Invite to Party" if they are online. Perhaps replacing Invite with Follow would be better?

Nice mockups. Many others also had similar ideas: There needs to be a follow feature in Dota 2.

This can be for players or entire teams.
This can or could incorporate some sort of "wall, dashboard, message feed" similar to any mainstream social media tool currently available.

I want to be able to follow teams, both pro and amateur, and hell, maybe even communicate with them through the client. Too many channels you ask? I think its something to try out anyways. If this game is going to become even more popular, their needs to be even more community things available!
