  • [BUG] WIN/LOSS Tag in game history

It seems the matches played after update are getting inverted WIN/LOSS tags.

    http://imgur.com/dlXZ6

Matchid for sniper game is: 53450418
Matchid for alchemist game is : 53442416

Someone else reported the same issue, so it's probably not just me.

(Off-topic: nerf sniper, buff broodmother )
I'm sorry Valve, but the only way I know how to coach players is with tough love.

I have the same issue with a game I played as Dark Seer. From what I can tell, the inversion only happens for games played after the update.

    http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfile.../?id=104701703 - game history
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfile.../?id=104701698 - the game in question (note how I am Radiant)

I've worked out what it is. It's dependant on the hero you're playing and which side you play on.

          If, for instance, you:

-play as a Radiant hero on the Dire side and Dire wins, it will display it in that column as a loss because you played a Radiant hero
-play as a Dire hero on the Radiant side and Radiant wins, it will also display it in that column as a loss because you played a Dire hero
-play as a Radiant hero on the Dire side and Dire loses, it will display it in that column as a win because you played a Radiant hero
-play as a Dire hero on the Radiant side and Radiant loses, it will display it in that column as a win because you played a Dire hero

So, the only cases where it is correct is if you:

-play a Radiant hero on the Radiant side and win or lose
-play a Dire hero on the Dire side and win or lose

          Fairly simple coding error.

Seems to be the case since I've noticed it's not really inverted but seemed "random"

they're not inverted, just outright incorrect most of the time. Ignoring practice matches, compare this screenshot to my dotabuff page which is correct.

One thing your screenshots DO NOT show is whether you were playing on the Radiant or Dire side in any particular game. If you read my post again, then go back through your games and compare the games where you played on Radiant with Radiant heroes, or on Dire with Dire heroes, you will find those correct. It's only the games where you play Radiant hero on Dire side, or Dire hero on Radiant side, that you'll see the problem.

Adding just more proofs to the pool.

In the end it really doesn't matter to me, but win is a win.

Okay, that kinda blows my theory, since Sniper is a Radiant hero and you were on Radiant and won. :/
