  • [Suggestion] Spoil free UI for competitions

Well I can't be the only one that gets a little mad by nowadays UI for the competitions I bought for Dota 2...
It is really easy to know who is going to win the previous matchs (on eliminations phases) because the last games appears first and in games like bo3 (best of 3) is easy to know who won the second game after seeing the first one by knowing how many games (2 or 3) both teams have (and even the final result if the teams played only 2 matches). This is really a pain in the a#@ because I do not always have the time to see the games live, but I sure want to watch spoil free matches.
So... lets break this in 2 problems, 1- seeing the last games of an elimination tournament, thus spoiling the games that came before and 2- seeing how many games a bo3 or bo5 have, thus spoiling the result of some of that games.

Today we have access to all matches sorted by date and I can see why this is happening. If you are watching regularly the competition you can see the last match as soon as you click the tournament box, also the first games that most of people already saw can't just appears at the first page so everyone must scroll to get where they are.
So I can only imagine that the tournament admin could register the game as Winner Bracket semifinal 1 vs Winner Bracket semifinal 2 (WB SF 1 vs WB SF 2). A button to "spoil" who the teams are should be implemented so as soon as you watch the game you can turn this mechanism off and see who the teams are by default. Also, you guys already have a mechanism to see which games the user have already saw, so it should be simple to know if they saw the games that leaded to the newest game and them automatically turn off the spoil free thing. (Yeah this would require the Tournament admin to categorize the elimination games and I don't know if this would be a simple thing to implement).

For Bo3 and Bo5 (or for any encounters that have more than 1 game attached to it) games between 2 teams should me merged. The information should be the same you have now, you will only need a space to put if this encounter is a single game, bo3 or bo5, a space to put which game the player is currently in (like game 1 or game 2) and a "Next button". The "Details" button that you already have, would lead the user to the details of the current game he is in and the "Next" button will make him to see the next game. Note that the next button should not go disabled, but instead go to the first game if the user is on the last game of the encounter. If people should require, a merge/unmerge button for the encounters could be made.

I also would like to recommend to sort all the competition games by likes, so when I go back to a tournament in like... 2 months I can see in an easy way what games pleased a lot of people (if you liked the solution number 2, for this sorting all games would be unmerged).

I believe this would add more value for Dota 2 tournament tickets(at least for me) so this usage of your resources would be justified.

    Thanks for your time,
