  • Closing Console when it is enabled

when opening dota 2 with console enabled, the "today page" is shown, but with the console superimposed on it. clicking on the background or clicking the "x" key to close the console doesn't work. instead, u have to press the tilde key or go to the top righthand corner of the console window and click close.

You should be able to access the today page by clicking on the background even if the console window is in the uppermost layer. also, clicking 'x' or pressing Esc should be enable u to close the console window, and not by only pressing the tilde key.

You can avoid that like this:
1.Open Notepad and create a file.
2.Change the name (including the extension) to autoexec.cfg.
3.Put this line in the file: con_enable 1 (just like that, nothing else).
4.Copy the file here: C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\dota 2 beta\dota\cfg (or depending on your installation folder).
5.Done! Console is enabled but it will not show at the start.
6.You can add more commands to that file (to avoid reintroducing them every time at the start of the game). Every line is a new command.
