having to manually add each meepo to the F1~F5 control groups every time I play is kind of annoying.

Other than that, the hero feels just the same as he did in WC3.

the highlighted part illustrates the real problem with meepo in dota2: as explained by kris.fm in wc3 dota you could rearrange meepos control groups with the keyboard, i would not take 1 second to shift+F1/F2/F3/F4/F5 to create in the middle of teamfights a fitting control group. in dota2 you will simply take 100000000x longer, cmon, shift+left click on the hero portraits. (mouse usage just takes to long)
for sure and unintended nerf, wc3 dota1 meepo was already hard enough...
i would like to also point out that are plenty of other threads discussing this problem i and kris.fm are talking about including one created by me, it seems a little of disregard with meepo fans

im posting the ones i still remember: http://dev.dota2.com/showthread.php?t=4132 ; http://dev.dota2.com/showthread.php?t=11689 ; http://dev.dota2.com/showthread.php?t=12684 ; http://dev.dota2.com/showthread.php?t=18242 (this one is the most interesting since a valve developer posted it was going to be fixed) ; http://dev.dota2.com/showthread.php?t=87816 ; http://dev.dota2.com/showthread.php?t=103552 (my thread) ; and you may visit http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/610657-dota-2/60139104 for clarifying purposes

-1 (Dont need those things. You should know where which meepo is if you practice a bit.)
I agree with last comment. Making groups everytime you level up is messed up... Individual select hero keys for each meepo will fix a little bit of that "chaos" problem I think.

started a topic Meepo interface changes

    Meepo interface changes

I want some changes to Meepo HUD

    1. They need to add the numbers of the Meepo Clones at the top of each clones head.
    2. They need an option to replace the hero markers (for Meepo) on the minimap with the number of each Meepo.
    3. They need an option to show arrows on the screen edge that point in the direction of each Meepo clone (displaying its number too) that is offscreen. And these arrows vary in size, so for instance an arrow pointing to a Meepo clone on the other side of the map from your camera is smaller than an arrow pointing to a Meepo clone that is offscreen but is relatively close to the camera.

Also, an aside. Say if I press F2 (select non-hero units), how can I move these selected units individually in the fewest amount of actions? I don't want all my clones to follow the same move command to the same destination. I currently have 1,2,3,4,5 as binds for individual Meepos, but this is a bit messy.
Working...
