  • Attack Speed Visible

I think it would be great if we could have our hero's attack speed visible somewhere on the HUD, ideally when we mouse over our stats. I know it wasn't a thing in legacy, but it's such an important part of certain builds and heroes (Tiny, I'm looking at you), that I think it would lend transparency to the underlying mechanics of DotA!

    Thanks, Loving the work!

It is there, together with attacks per second.

Maybe he means to say "Base Attack Speed". But i can't be certain.

How about including turn rate, missile speed, cast point, attack point, day/night sight range, and base HP regen too

You are being sarcastic, but this info should be present in in-game "heropedia". Making educated decisions based on technicalities is big part of high level play. Which spells can be dodged by certain abilities and items should not be arcane knowledge only available to people lurking playdota for years etc. Valve now takes care about TF2 knowledge base, but official Dota 2 info is kind of sparse.

It is not much work to simply know which heros do not have a BAT of 1.7

It helps if stuff is available in-game rather than on a site. As a commenter said above, you should not have to be a Wiki expert to play DOTA (the learning curve is already steep enought).

Note that there are already enough things going on in game that just making the information available is not going to change things. People who are more detail-oriented / knowledgable will always do better.

Take an example: Wraith King's Vampiric Aura does not show on him, though it shows on units around him. But it still applies to him.
On the other hand, Drow Rangers Global Aura shows on her HUD as well.

While it is always possible to learn these quirks, the less of them, the easier it will be for new players.
