  • Can no longer mute/unmute players in Waiting-For-Players Screen

Since the introduction of the animated background during the waiting for players screen, the top bar is hidden by default and only is visible when your mouse cursor hovers it. Unfortunately also the Scoreboard disappears once your mouse cursor no longer is over the top bar (for example if it is over the scoreboard), which makes it impossible to do anything on the scoreboard, such as muting or unmuting players.

Same problem with the Finish screen. Actually a big issue.

Difficulty (inability?) to mute / report players at the end of a game is bad design

With the recent UI changes, it is difficult, if not possible, to report or mute someone at the end of a game. Sure, you can move your cursor up and press the button / your hotkey, but when you move the cursor down, the player list disappears. This is a very bad design choice: now, we cannot report players at the conclusion of a match.
We need a player review system like Overwatch for DotA 2. Get real people to judge communication abuse, intentional skill abuse, and intentional feeding.

Looks more like a bug than a community issue.

But the new difficulty to show the player list even at the beginning of the game seems like this is intended.

Definitly not a community issue. Moved to misc.

99% of the bugs are differences to Dota 1 and if you don't search for them you'll never notice them. This one is one of the few ones you can really notice.

Let me correct: YOU will never notice them, because you barely play any dota. I noticed most bugs even though I had no idea about the heroes behaviour in DotA 1 (only played Phoenix and he got remade after I switched to Dota 2).
Most bugs are discrepancies between skill description and skills.

If you didn't play Dota 1 a lot then you can't notice them, because at LEAST 50% of the bug list are numbers that are wrong (tons of collision values missing, or "20 damage less", range issues, etc.). Another common issue is magic immunity (it is inconsistant anyway, so imo unnoticable too). There are noticable bugs, but they're only a tiny fraction of the list.

Unable to view profiles during loading phase

So when the top bar is hidden during loading phase of a game - You are unable to left click view a users profile in the left hand side as when you move the curser away from the top bar area, the entire UI disappears.

                      New postgame UI breaks feedback

The new postgame UI disables swiping in the scoreboard with the hotkey, and trying to select it from the top menu results in the common bug where moving the mouse into the empty space between the menu bar and the box dismisses both. This means that it's impossible to commend or report players after the game, which is when I submit a good portion of my reports and nearly all my commends.

So things not doing what they are supposed to do are not bugs?

Please tell me how can you justify damage differences from an intended value, distance differences from an intended value, etc. as not bugs. Cause those are pretty much the definition of a bug.

No? If it states "this skill will do 100 damage" in the tooltip and it only deals 90 damage, then you don't need to have played dota 1 for it to realize!

Try muting or commending someone when the scoreboard comes up, Lajkonik, and you'll notice the bug, unless it's been fixed recently, and I haven't checked on it since then. When you try to move your mouse on someone to do it, the UI disappears.
