  • Suggestion - Movement Speed on hero HUD

Right now u have to place your mouse over the info to get the movement speed, i suggest it we put an icon and the movement speed next to it, just like the stats, armor and dmg

Would only make the info more visible, and would help players that dont have movement speed memorized for every hero take quick glances at enemy movement speeds.
Don't really think it would affect gameplay or anything since you still have to target the enemy hero to get the information

Sorry for my english, not my first language

Actually IMO you don't need to know so fast what is your ms. If you want to you just place your mouse over and you can see it. There is no need to take it all out.

Yes, this would be great. For the most part, knowing your hero's exact movespeed right before a battle is way more important than, say, knowing their exact agility. I'd really like to see movespeed on the HUD. +1
Change has kept DotA alive, evolving, and improving since 2002. And now DotA has an entire new engine at it's disposal, with infinite new capabilities.

So why are there so many DotA fundamentalists/conservatives that oppose new features, options, and information?

            Embrace the change.

completely agree, in cases like when you want to kill someone by spinning with juggernaut, ms is really important so, i'd like to see it in the hero HUD +1

+1. the more you know about your own hero the better. imo keeping the hud simple is very important, but perhaps an optional "hero page" button could be implemented that when clicked on shows you eveeeerrryyyy little detail about you hero down to animation times, current ms, current orb effects per attack, etc. theres no reason we shouldnt know every detail about our own hero. the enemy heroes, on the other hand, we should keep knowledge to a minimum.

I think movement speed is an extremely important statistic that should be displayed at all times.

+1. I'm fairly certain that the UI not immediately showing movement speed was a limitation of the Warcraft III UI. Let's not carry it over to Dota 2 as well.

The Acorn helmet is actually VERY fitting since it's natural shape is used. Also it is used for it's quality to withstand blows.

Approved for allies. Balance issues might occur if it gets enabled for enemies.
