  • Turn off health number?

Is there anyway to turn off the health number on the floating health bar? It may be useful for some players, but I think it's really ugly looking and the number is already available anyway so I'd like to just turn it off, however there doesn't seem to be an option to do so.

Maybe there's a console command for it, anyone know?

Yeah I want to turn off the numbers as well. Anyone know how?

What the hell is the point of it anyways? Are people too slow to look down?

Please, let us turn this off. It makes the game look terrible...

Yeah. The original Dota never had health number above the health bars. This option is for new players, maybe.
I never really see the need to have it as the health is already displayed. Come on, it doesn't really take that much time to take a glimpse at your health in the HUD.
We can't really let ourselves adapt to the new players; we should let them adapt to how Dota's meant to be played.

We played in an era where there were no health numbers shown and we got used to it, why not let new players undergo the same?

+1 on an option to remove the health numbers.

the newly added health number maybe a good addition for those who are new to dota2, but i say its kindda distracting for old player like myself..

Im for having a way to remove it. We already get the bars showing every 250, that plus the bar by our abilities is enough. I feel like this is just way to much. Cluttering my screen, no thanks.

Dota was stuck in WC3 engine. Some mechanics and UI are outdated, and if we want DOTA 2 to be relevant, we need to adapt, and have bigger player base. New players is not a bad thing for this game for fu** sake.

I was just about to make a thread about this. The new health bar addition in my opinion is hideous and I would like to have the option to remove it.

You're not going to have any luck convincing Dota purists to embrace change. Just leave them alone, because you'll be wasting your time otherwise.

I used to have player names at the top of the health bars, but when this ugly numbers appeared, there is no space for names. No matter what you chose in options (player names on/off) it doesnt appear.
