  • Stop moving the camera to my hero when I respawn

I wish there was a setting to not move the camera back to my hero when I respawn. Typically before I respawn I'm looking at a tower that we're about to defend pretty heavily and I'm waiting to click in the exact location I want to teleport to as soon as I respawn. Unfortunately once I respawn the camera moves back to the hero which is annoying. I understand why the camera does this for newer players who may not notice when they respawn but it'd be nice to have an option.

I'm up for an option to disable it.

More interesting is that when you have another hero selected it doesn't go to your hero on respawn but to some random location on the map. It may not be random, but that would mean it takes the distance from your hero's corpse to the spawn but then. using the location of the currently selected hero as starting position.

I'm totally with TedAjax. It'd be great to have an option to disable the camera-jumpback on revive!

HoN has an option for that... I'm sure it will be added to DOTA 2. Give it time.

I agree. Additionally, you should be able to queue an action while being dead, so that it would be executed as soon as you respawn.

+1 I agree. I'm looking at exactly where I'm about to teleport and it just snaps the camera back to base. Very annoying.
