  • Keep spell type hotkeys (somewhat) universal

I think that spell types should be somewhat universal in their hotkeys. For instance; orbs are always E, active abilities are Q, and passive are W. I'm sure this would be somewhat useful, if not just convenient for all players for ease of use. Personally, I find orb walking with E to be easier for some reason.

    Examples:
    Huskar: Q = heal, W = passive, E = fire orb
    Drow: Q = silence, W = trueshot aura, E = frost orb
    Viper: Q = passive, W = passive, E = poison orb
    Outworld Destroyer: Q = astral imprisonment, W = passive aura, E = orb
    Clinkz: Q = Strafe/Windwalk, W = Strafe/windwalk, E = flame orb
    etc.

Not all orb using heros can follow this exactly:
    Enchantress: Q = Heal/Targeted slow, W = passive attack slow, E = Heal/targeted slow, R = Impetus (since it's an ult i think it should stay R)

Some heros without orbs can have the change applied by moving their passive to W:
    Night Staker: Q = Void/crippling fear, W = hunter in the night, E = Void/crippling fear
    Dragon Knight: Q = Dragon breath/Dragon tail, W = Dragon blood, E = Dragon breath/Dragon tail

While this may not be a change that affects all heroes, I think it would be nice to have most abilities (kind of) line up with each other in their use.

You know what would be awesome:
    * being able to select the order of the skills for each hero separately.
    or
    * being able to customize ability hotkeys for each hero separately.

this will accomplish what you are suggesting and much more.

Although another thread was posted after yours it got a lot more discussion on it, so let's move this conversation over there: http://dev.dota2.com/showthread.php?t=24030

Usually I give the first post priority, but it doesn't make sense in this case.
