I liked the old one better. It was a little difficult to tell the time left in the cycle, but just tweaking the colors around might have been enough. Perhaps a little polishing was needed, but overall it felt sleeker.

The new one isn't bad and is functional, but I prefer the old.

when its day time, theres a little sun icon near the bottom of the clock.

when its night time, theres amoon instead of the sun.

It takes a few seconds of looking at the new clock to determine how exactly it works. It's not that difficult really. I quite like it. The old one didn't stand out enough for newer players.

It seems cartoonish to me. I like the old clock.

I just want a plain and simple (24H) DIGITAL clock. This sun/moon/analog hocus pocus is TOO much for me.

Seriously guys, it's not rocket science.
I understand how it works. But I also said that it was ineffective. How is a HALF sun considered day? Who thought of that?

Because the arrow that points at the time is at the bottom, halfway of the clock. Besides, this also happens in real life. At twilight/dawn, one can often see the sun and the moon simultaneously.
It is a full sun at noon (in real life, this is generally also when the sun is at its highest) and a full moon at midnight. Around 6 am and 6 pm, sun and moon switches, so there is half a sun and half a moon.
With how you are suggesting it, I really don't see the logic in having a piece of sun near midnight and a piece of the moon near midday.

I'd much rather the old clock. This one is confuzzling.

IMO, a possible improvement is to gradient the color of the wheel, so that there are easily distinguishable 'sunrise' and 'dusk' periods. Then you put a bright dividing line between day and night, so despite the gradient you know exactly when day/night ends and starts. That way you'd more instinctively know "oh, yeah, its going to be night soon', or something.

It took me 1 game to understand the new clock. Within 200 games I never understood the old clock.
                          You can guess my vote.

@CvP, why not just remember the gametimes when it's day and night?

I think the new clock is awesome, but too futuristic looking, that silver rim clashes with the rest of the ui and doesn't match that stoney theme.

And a rhetorical question to the people that don't understand how the new clock works - do you usually check time on your cellphone or your watch?

As a Night Stalker player, I got pretty pissed when they changed the clock. Old one was simpler.

how can you guys not understand this clock, its 100% completely transparent and even has an icon that shows you if its day or night right now. the difference between day and night is much more clear, much more higher contrast between the two
