ROFL, if I wanted to know if it's day or night, I could just look outside! ^^

Truth be told, I didn't pay much attention to the old clock, but I've played a game as Night Stalker since the change and found the new one pretty intuitive. Having the point of change-over at the bottom of it gave a nice view of approximately how far off night and day were.

I don't understand how anyone can not understand EITHER of the clocks. Both are absurdly basic tools for telling fake time within game.

New one looks better and does that job better.

I don't like any reference to a standard clock personally. I prefer to submerge myself in a fantasy world and don't like to see AM/PM etc or a 24hr based clock.

The new one stands out too much. When I first saw the new clock I didn't really like it, but it started to grow on me until I was watching videos that had the old clock and I realized how much better it fit.
It's way too colourful now, and bigger (I think?).
The details on the top bar though are a nice touch.
              Doing a great job Valve!

                You can guess my vote.

@CvP, why not just remember the gametimes when it's day and night?
Trying playing NS. (not) Knowing exact second when night will start/end is a life/death difference.

The newer one seems easier to understand however I prefer the old look by far.

I like it, but the first time I saw it I felt it was hard to understand

                      you are overreacting...
your aura will be activated when nigth falls... and fade when it ends... the clock isnt a reliable source of information neither the new one neither the old one if we put in your terms...

You know the "exact" second when day turns to night and vice-versa like before. You know when it's day or night because you can check the sun/moon symbol at bottom of the clock.

But you can also check that by looking at the size of sun compared to moon. If sun > moon then it's day.

Here it's 12 (*AM) Edit: *PM

Here, the size of the moon is almost the same as the size of the sun, so day is almost turning into night.

                        And here it's night.

I found this clock so intuitive that I never thought about it before reading this thread.

Edit: I just found this comment, lol:

                        NO: ITS DAY
                        It's so damn simple.

The previous clocks were not easy to read. This one is much simpler and self-explanatory. Problem?

Its better now in my opinion

Played Nightstalker 4 times or something like that now and had no problem with this. You can see when the night is coming. It turns clockwise so you have some time to prepare for night and when it comes you ult the shit out of night stalker. Same is with day you can prepare for daytime since you can see it coming. when you hover your mouse over it you can see 3 p.m. or 5 a.m. etc I dont really see an issue there. Every other constellation would confuse more people I think.
