Well, it was never an issue before, since it was possible to do this for years in Source and then in Source 2 for Reborn. In fact, if I wanted to play without the HUD, especially now since they removed so much stuff and made the game take up the whole screen instead of the viewport method, there's no harm in doing so. Also, with last night's second patch they seem to have allowed camera distance to be zoomed further out once again, which implies the hud toggle being marked as a cheat may have been a mistake after all. Probably a case of the left hand not knowing what the right is doing. Right now people are focused on the KDA stats being in the wrong place, so I can wait.

That's how it should be since it's intended for "movie making" purposes or debugging, not for doing it on live games (spectate or not).
As for your personal issue, Valve got you covered since the HUD changes positions daily, and will continue to do so until March 2017, when Source 3 comes.
Then it's rinse and repeat. So your plasma is safe.
Can't say the same about your electric bill, though.

It appears that both of the commands have been set as cheat only, which is hopefully just temporary. When watching games on my plasma TV, even though it shouldn't suffer from burn in, I don't want to to tempt fate so I toggle everything off and zoom out. Speaking of which the distance you can zoom out when spectating also appears to be locked now as well. It just stopped working in the last few days, so one of those small patches must have changed this.

Any news on this? hud_toggle_visibility and r_drawpanorama 0 does the same thing atm. I wanna be able to disable some of the HUD elements, not all of it in one command.

    Thanks!

Hello! I also have a problem when viewing replays. On the hero's skills there is an overlay with random numbers, and i cannot see them clearly or I can`t see the cooldown. Does anyone has this problem too? Also, the hud_toggle_visibility is not working...

A new command has been added: hud_toggle_visibility
    Yet it does nothing.
Support will probably be added later, it's been live for less than 24h...

Maybe any separated commands? For example, in old HUD I used to hide everything but minimap. Is there a way to do this now?
