Verify integrity of game cache:
Right click your Steam icon while running (in the taskbar) then launch Library - Dota 2 - Properties - LOCAL FILES
or just click this link: steam://validate/570
A long shot, but you might try resetting DOTA local and remote Cloud settings using this batch script:
reset_Dota2.bat
Hit download / get button on pastebin, then run it (might need to right-click open as Administrator)
If after launching Dota 2 you get the Steam Cloud Sync Conflict window, chose Upload.
Post your dxdiag reports, people! Else there is not much actionable data to fix/identify this issue.
Save all Information.. then attach the file / paste the content and enclose it in a code section (Go Advanced - select wall of text - hit # button)
Your in-game info would also be helpful. Open in-game console, enter:
clear;sys_info;condump
Then attach the file \steamapps\common\dota 2 beta\game\dota\condumpXXX.txt / paste the content like for dxdiag.
