    Ok guys i dont know if this has happend to you but i have lost so many kills cause of the "Ability can't target Allies" warning.

    Summary: Hook one ennemy try to Dismember him as fast as u can but the "Ability can't target Allies" warning shows up till u can actually Dismember him but hes to far away for the root damage to be taken.

    Expected: "Ability can't target Allies" warning to be removed at least from pudge its self...as it is in dota1 so the Dismember can be casted on enemys simultaneously.


    Hope for valve devs is not a complicated issue so can be fixed as soon as possible.

    I too have noticed that when I Dismember after Hook they are able to escape the range of Rot before the Dismember actually goes off. Is it possible that the minimal range is too high so after a Hook you get this error because it thinks you're trying to attack yourself while the enemy is right on top of you? Or perhaps it's because the enemy is attached to your hook, which is attached to you, so it thinks that the enemy is part of you...

    I can Force Staff + Rot + Dismember better than I can Hook + Rot + Dismember. With the Force Staff, Dismember can trigger in Rot range way easier.

      It may be intentional to give quick-on-their-feet heroes a chance of escape. I find the Hook+Dismember combo to be way OP when I play any hero other than one that can blink away immediately after the hook. You can't move when you're being hooked and then you can't move when you're being dismembered. That's a very long stun, IMO, and seems a bit imbalanced compared to other skills.
      I've never played DotA. I don't care how things were done in DotA. This is Dota 2. This is what I care about.

        IMO this combo is not OP.. the target is disabled for what? 4s? maybe 4.5s if hooked at maximum distance? and uses 2 spells with reasonable cooldowns.
        What can you say about Dk's Tail and CK's bolt?

        @ Topic.

        In DotA I could dismember instantly the target 0.1~0.2 seconds b4 the hook actually ends like (120~150) distance away or ASAP it finishes next to pudge.
        In Dota 2 it actuallys delays 1 seconds mostly, sometimes you even think you missed the click (clicking on the ground or stuff).

        This needs to be fixed =(
