  • [Suggestion] for Hero Match Up icon

The point is to make The Radiant and The Dire heroes to face each other, even in icon.

    This is before:

    And, this is after:

The only slight problem is with the QoP picture, she is the only hero that facing in front. No problem with other heroes, though.

A nice detail, totally aesthetic, but I liked. +1

          is it doable right?

I am sure it would be extremely easy to implement this change.

I have mixed feelings on this.

While I usually am for aesthetic changes and details such as this, I feel that the portraits as seen in the Learn Tab maybe are better left alone. I think keeping the portrait (thus the silhouette and the overall image at a passing glance) the same at all parts of the game is best.

I'm thinking from a gameplay standpoint: seeing inconsistencies in the portraits will increase the time it takes to judge which characters are present at the top of the screen at first glance -- if only slightly. I think, the more time it takes to get the necessary information that you're looking for, the more frustrating the game is; i.e. it's bad game design to be inconsistent, in my opinion anyway. Especially since a lot of the heroes are asymmetrical. Pudge, for example: his stitches would be reversed.

I agree with Baconsmyweakness, I think I would be too much of a scanning issue. I like it to be the same.

Yeah, while this is a good idea, I think standard is key, and the more you make dynamic the more you need to think about. Even that split .1 of a second extra it might not even take you to recognize the portrait is not worth sacrificing in-game.

Again, great idea and well made mockup, but I dunno about it.
