Have you ever clicked a skill icon to level it up, it didn't work and you thought it was a misclick?
Well, there is a small area in skill icons, at the mana cost corner, that doesn't really "belong" to the icon and clicking it does nothing, and it gives the impression of a misclick.
It is more likely to happen with heroes with more than four skill icons, because their icons are smaller in order to fit in the HUD, but the "unavailable" area is the same, so it's a greater portion of the total skill icon area.
I (and some other user) noticed it many times with "invoke" and it was believed to be a bug of the skill itself
( http://dev.dota2.com/showthread.php?t=21730 ), but it seems like it's just this icon issue.
So, I suggest that the area at the mana cost corner of skill icons should be included in the "effectively clickable" area of skill icons.
