In dota 1 a good player will never be caught off guard bywindwalk activating nearby because it makes a very distinct sound if you hear it activating nearby. Dota 2 invis sound needs to change.

Also aura doesn't seem to change the appearance of nearby units, well maybe it does but I haven't noticed. E.g In dota 1 a good player should be able to notice a sa with vlads/ring even if they can't see them because the enemy creeps will have a slight glow caused by an aura item.

Well, I can hear clinkz/bh ww's very easily. Are there any specific heros you have a hard time hearing?

Also, you can turn off the aura for creeps with the ring. I always do
The vlads lifesteal art should give that way, right?

Yea the lothars and BH, the problem is that they sound very similar to other things, like some hero attacking creeps (I've only played a few games).

The ring problem I onbly used SA as an example. Better example, in dota 1 if I was from sent planning to kill a hero in my lane I will pay attention to my target's and surrounding creep's aura because a slight change could mean that an enemy hero has invis rune or someone is approaching from the scourge side but I can't see him because of night time fog. These small things much more difficult to see in dota 2.
