  • [Suggestion] Allow selection of different HUD styles in the settings menu

In relation with the UI changes included in the latest test build and according to the various HUD threads on the dev forum, it seems the community's reaction to the new HUD is divided - obviously, some like it and some prefer the old style. While we all must agree that both HUD styles look fantastic and very detailed, some people like me prefer the old style due to its simplicity and finer details. Others will prefer the beautifully rendered and animated "rocky" style.

Therefore, so as to please both fans of the old and new, I would suggest adding the option to change the HUD style in the settings menu (just like in the 'Interface' menu of the Steam platform). This does not necessarily mean that the current position of the various screen elements should change - once the optimal layout has been found, all HUD styles could use the same default one.

People have gotten used to the old HUD style ever since The International tournament which occurred 1 year ago, therefore many people like me would prefer keeping the old style, especially since it has, in a way, become the 'classic DotA 2 style', as seen on the DotA 2 blog.
