[Suggestion] Comprehensive UI Feedback

Forum Rules

No flaming or derogatory remarks, directly or through insinuation.

All art related (such as hero model) feedbacks go to Art Feedback Forum.
All matchmaking feedback should go here: Matchmaking Feedback
All report/low priority issues should go here: Commend/Report/Ban Feedback
No specific workshop item feedback. These should go to workshop page of that item.
When posting in non-bugs section (such as this), use [Bugs], [Discussion] or [Suggestion] prefix in your thread name.

Before posting any bug, test it in latest DotA map or Latest DotA Test Map and make sure it is actually a bug.
You can also find references in PlayDota Guides and PlayDota Mechanics.
Follow Bug Reporting Guide when reporting bugs.

In case you object some action by a moderator, please contact him directly through PM and explain your concerns politely. If you are still unable to resolve the issue, contact an administrator. Do not drag these issues in public.

All rules are meant to augment common sense, please use them when not conflicted with aforementioned policies.

Maybe search bar is a bit hard to notice, but you get used to it where it is, whats the big deal about it, uh..

Shops on map? no.
Items x2,x3? no.
People should learn/know this stuff. gosh ... Don't make DotA simple.

+1 for pings in scoreboards, and +1 for some way of indicating how many levels of stats we have.
Also, I feel the courier/glyph of fort icons are too small and similar (although handy)

The thing with the XP bar is that you must look beyond your hero's portrait, while if it was placed on top of it, it would be closer to the center of the screen, so, closer to where you normally look at, what means you move your eyes less and can focus on the screen easier.

I agree to almost everything, except for the shop icons (which I think it would be an annoyance to experienced players, although it would fit in a tutorial) and the xp bar, which I think it's fine the way it is.

Also, +1 to the ping column on the scoreboard.

yeah I don't have any problem with the ping being there

efficiency wise it may make more sense to have it be a command that can be run as needed instead of being queried at all times
but, that's not really a decision for us to make anyway so suggestion wise I don't see why not XD

Hmm I guess then the ultimates row can just be replaced with pings to make it feel less cluttered. But I think straight-up pings on the scoreboard (like in any other major modern online games) can only benefit to players.

So I quickly made an image of prototype scoreboard that would display player pings aswell (sorry for the made up bot pings ). Also, I boxed the gold and ultimates. Sorry for the sloppy job but you should get the general idea.
