one of the only things that CoD actually does right (btw its red, not orange)
Only thing that it doesnt do right is make friends orange, what a pain differencing orange and red at a very quick glance.

If Dota 2 has this as well, then me and (quite possibly) thousands of others who will play Dota 2 can actually enjoy not confusing creeps (and sometimes even) other heroes.
League of legends colorblind mode doesn't help me still have to hover over units to see if they're friendly.

But +1 to the suggestion, and I'd also like to see it possible to change the color of the rosh pit? I have trouble seeing heroes inside it...

Bumping this again. You'd think Colorblind Mode would be VERY beneficial for the upcoming International.

Cant you run a seperate programm that cuts inbetween the finalmonitor display and graficCard output, then modify it?
This would solve the problem for all pc grafic stuff.

No. I've researched this, and no such thing exists.

Unless you know a program that does. Nothing does this live.

EDIT: Either way, you shouldn't need to use a 3rd party program to gain necessary functionality for a competitive game.

                      Some question anyway.

If he i RG-blind, on this RGB displays, does this mean he sees , as i asume, only gray+blue from dark to white?

How could this solution look like then? As simply recoloring wouldnt bring too much in that case.

It looks like i cant help or even imagine a good solution for this. sry.

That's not how it works. Here's an example.

                        http://www.snikwah.com/b/colorblind/

The way League of Legends fixes this issue with its colorblind mode by making the green allied health bars blue instead of green. People with Red-Green colorblindness (read: most people who are colorblind) cannot distinguish red and green, but can distinguish each from everything else.

                          Thanks for the link.

As i have studied informatic, changing some colors in an output stream should be fairly easy.
yet i can not tell how easy it would be in steam.
Finaly said, they should add this rly quick, even before TI2!!

So, the International 2 has come and gone. 500,000 spectators. Probably 95% male. About 5-10% of those are red-green colorblind.

Why is this not yet implemented?
