    I say go for it.
    Great points there OdeTen!

You are spot on. On one camp are the serious dota2 players that fear this will make the game 'easier' and dilute their skill requirements. Viciously protecting their well honed map awareness and team voice communication against the invasion of the lesser breed of players...

On the other hand, you have the newbies who want to play the game better in pubs and serious pub players that don't mind this as an option as it will make pub games without voice chat more enjoyable since team chat is already minimal anyway.

Valve has always said they wanted Dota2 to be more receptive for newbies and this is just that. Based on recent updates, Valve is trying to make non-verbal/chat easier. The fact that one can now ping runes to let others know what type of rune there is without typing in chat "regen rune here!!!" is an indication of the way to go.

I foresee this to be implemented in the near future. Fingers crossed!

I would like to point to aydin690's suggestion which optimises the screen space and also integrates the health and mana bar with the hero portraits at the bottom.
It looks like a great idea and would be perfect with the low hp warning feature I suggested too.

Oh man, this totally doesn't happen when Chen is played properly right now.

So you want pub players to play Chen at HIGHER level of skill then pro players have. Very smart.

If I need to tell someone when to use their skills that's not increase in team communication that's teaching someone how to properly play, i want to communicate about our tactics and next steps we will take.

    It is an option.

First: I don't like a sequel of my game I like being dumbed down
Zeus and chen will be now easier to play with
I play chen, and this will be an advantage to me when playing in pub games (where most ppl don't communicate). I don't like this "new advantage" that I would have
Example: Jungle chen; while jungling I'll just look at the portrait and wait for my teamamtes to go red, hit "D" and them my job is done

Learning curve will be easier now a bit for chen now, since I can farm safely by having my focus more on my own position rather than my teammates

as I think this through while typing Mirana too will have this advantage, although not much..
I personally don't get her ultimate at early lvls

Second: This doesn't promote team cooperation/communication
Think about zeus and mirana now, I will have an increased reaction time when playing with this 2 heroes..
Instead of making my teammates communicate when there's a low HP her in the field that needs zapping or a teammate that needs invisibility w/ Mirana's ultimate
I can just look at the top portrait..

Third: I hate clutter at the top of my view

Fourth: I won't have a counter argument when I fail to save a teammate or kill someone..

MDuh, you are thumbing down this suggestion because it is not the way you play? Instead of looking at the suggestions's pros and cons?
What is the reason you -1 it?

Hmm...Maybe I should had added another poll option : "Doesn't Matter to Me"
