  • The new HUD is too big and lacks dedicated areas for caster logos and video feed

I am not here to argue with people about which HUD is the preferred one since it's all a matter of taste. However, the current HUD has a few issues that were not present with the old HUD. IMO, the problem lies in the bottom section of it.

    1. The "rocky" design of the HUD is beautiful but has too much depth. It seems to want to take the attention away from the center of the screen (both sides glow faintly), which is exactly the opposite of what a HUD should do. Rocks go over part of the hero portrait, of the right-most ability icon and two angled rock slabs fill part of the bottom area in an archaic manner. Comparatively, the shop section of the HUD has fine borders and a relatively flat shape, which is perfect.

    2. There is a lack of dedicated areas on the HUD specifically and strategically placed to allow casters to put screen elements like team logos, website addresses and live camera feeds. The old HUD had two identical areas on each side of the bottom part, which was perfect for this. However, with the new HUD, casters can't seem to agree on which part of the HUD their logos/camera feed should go, and this is mainly due to the fact that the new HUD does not have the symmetry the old HUD had.

All in all, I understand that many people can easily get used to new content... however I strongly believe that despite the high visual quality of the current HUD, it is not as good as the previous one on a practical level and should be reworked slightly to better accommodate both players and casters alike.
