  • German multicast tooltip is very irritating!

So, I just read the multicast tooltip for the first time and found one major and two minor flawes in the translation. Here's the picture, for people who can read german ( .For those who can't understand this beautiful language, here are the errors:

-It says that Fireblast manacosts will be reduced by 30/70/110(It should say "increased")

-Word for word translation for Ignite and Bloodlust are that they get an area damage of 150/300/450 and 575 (It should say "Wirkungsradius" which means "area of effect")

Now for people who allready know what the spell does the meaning is obvious. But those who read the tooltips for what they are made for, which is learning what your spell does, can get very confused with this translation.

I am also from Germany and can confirm all of the flaws Ricochet explained above. Yet, I don't know whether these mistakes were made in any other skill descriptions since my client language is English. Someone should check this since it is really important.

Rules to be a good beta tester:
    • Don't bring Warcraft III limitations to Dota 2.
    • Be an example. You are not here to play ALL games for fun. You are here to test so we can have a better game.
    • Don't say that something is working as intended just because it was like that in DotA. Things have to make some actual sense.
    • Being a better player than someone doesn't mean his argument is null and void.
    • Use the search.

      Google translator fails I guess

        1. Yes, it should read "erhöht" instead of "verringert".
        2. "Radius" would suffice too, however you're right that "Wirkungsradius" is probably the best translation.

These strings are outdated in the current localization files and will probably be fixed with the next update.

And no, we don't use Google Translate. The English strings sometimes change and it takes us some time to update the German ones.

shouldn't it just put "verringert" into parantheses? I mean, after all it should somehow express that it's the reduced mana costs...

No, the mana costs are increased by 30/70/110.
