    .. if you,valve, want from us to make cosmetic items, better give us models to do them to..

    Oh, you want the Hero Models files? Decompile them and then rebuild the flexes. DONE!

          Viewing is not enough, we need to be able to decompile .mdl 's so we can use 3d programs to add stuff and them but tf2 mdl decompiler doesnt work because it requires *.dx80.vft which i assume is for directx8 which dota2 doesnt support and models dont have... any solution? how to decompile mdl files into smd,qc and other files?
          The truth about DotA and VALVe... Some VALVe employees loved to play DotA and created a team. With this team they participated in a tournament, but they lost horribly...

            u need a early version of dota 2 or find a new program for decompile.

              I actually succeeded with the latest version... To decompile you need to use StudioDecompiler thing, configure it to alien swarm sdk and your output and inputs should be on the same part of the harddrive...Pm me if anyone else having problems decompiling.
              Anyone can recommend good 3d modelling program? i found blender too "useless".I need something similar to Valve's Hammer Editor...
