    About the second suggestion.
    A glow would be kind of irritating.

    A small tick in the health bar would be better. It's difficult to explain, so I'll show you a picture of it.

      I think this 'last hit marker' would be great to have for custom matches or in some kind of 'training map'.

      Heck... A lot of lower level players aren't even aware of how important last hitting is.

        Great suggestion imo. It's going to be a constant fight to convince old school players that these sorts of features would eventually lead to a more thriving community.

        I particularly like the attention to detail that the feature would fade over time as the player spent more time playing a particular hero.

          Only in practice mode imo, if you want to get better your practice with bots, and only then does it becomes a very convenient feature for newbies to start. I like your 10 games idea, but I think it's just a lot simpler with practice only.

                  this is not a bad idea the real key is going to be people who play casual and over time they lose their range indicator.
