that suggestion makes no sence.. u can always see other players level by simply covering them with your mouse.. also think that there is no space this idea to come true cuz... dude... have u ever been in a team fight(5on5) at all.. if something more appears on someones head i really will leave dota2 .. ;d

about the enemy mana show... its just noobish and doesnt deserve the words im writing now.. hope valve dont make that idea real..

Just add a really vivid tooltip showing the HP, Mana and level value, adding to the HP bar would make it look either messy or oversized.

Besides it, I agree of this.

I don't want this to turn into a discussion about mana, I am sorry for the title, it's misleading. I only saw that the mana matter was discussed already only afrter i started the thread, sorry about that.

On topic: Yes I agree that the screen would be a little more cluttered in large team fights, but it really isn't that much, provided that they implement the hero level display simillarily to LoL. I none of the team fights i had in LoL neither the hero level being diplayed near the health bar nor the enemy mana incommodated me

I could understand not showing the level since I suppose it could start cluttering up the screen if every teamfight has 10 more numbers on-screen (though when a tidehunter jumps out of the forest at you, knowing if he's level 5 or 6 instantly could make a big difference) but I don't see why we shouldn't see 5 more tiny blue bars. I'm never a fan of when games give you the information you want, but only if you jump through extra UI hoops. (selecting the unit in this case) That's really just fake difficulty and not much fun.

Only argument for not showing enemy mana I can think of is that it would be an Anti-mage buff.

You also need to check it when you are a ganked, or when a team fight happens near you and you don't have the time to check the scoreboard.

Often enough to not need the hero level next to their health. You do it when you know people are almost level 6, you do it when you go ganking, you do it when you are pushing, etc. Too bad I can't type in -ma like in dota 1. It was the same thing as looking at the scoreboard but you got used to it.

If you talking about allied hero it doesn't, if enemy then it affects it as okrane said.
