  • Levels on hero icons in top bar

The reason why you should show levels in the top bar is so you can easily at a glance check how your other lanes are doing in terms of experience.
There's no reason why we have to open the scoreboard to check the leves of everyone, just because it was like this in WC3, doesn't mean it should be the same.

Here are a few suggestions I made.
The first one is probably the best. Simple white colour.

(Screenshot was taking while spectating a live game, so disregard the ultimate dot for enemy heroes)

I do not see in it sense, because there is already a table with the levels for the spectator mode is very comfortably, but for the players it's not needed. IMHO

+1 wouldn't mind the addition. Though the only decent one (not meaning to be disrespectful here) to me it's the first one. Fairly sure the UI team can make something great out of it.

I agree that it's not needed when spectating because of the Hero level tab, but it can actually come very handy when playing, especially when you're ganking during early stages and some players might still be < 6 thus lacking their ultis.

It happened to me yesterday that a Lina almost had double kill on our lane because we jumped on her without realizing she got to lvl 6 - we thought we had a lot of success with denies and harassing, turns out BH wasn't just being around.

That was definitely a mistake on our part (since it's already possible to check other people's level), but when you got to open a new menu and check the whole list of players, it takes precious time and actions away. As a new player, I know I don't want that, there's only so many things you can handle at first.

I feel having this as optional won't hurt anybody and can actually be helpful to some players.

How is it not needed for players?
It's one of the more important things to keep track of.
