  • [Suggestion] How to make item-swapping easier

I think the item swapping in Dota2 has improved from Dota1, but it still feels pretty clunky and slow.

    Here's what I was thinking:

1.) Select Hero hotkey (for me that's '1')
2.) Click and drag item you want to swap/move, continue holding the left mouse button
3.) Double tap hotkey for the unit you wish to transfer the item to (courier, Lone Druid's bear, a Meepo, etc)
4.) Mouse over the inventory slot you wish to swap items with (or drop the item into) and release your finger from the left mouse button

Also, I was thinking of allowing Lone Druid and his Bear to swap items within a larger radius than the usual melee range. Maybe it could be a component of leveling up Synergy? Ideally, I'd like to be able to easily swap Radiance from hero to bear in the middle of teamfights. Swap Tranquil Boots with Bear's Phase Boots in the middle of a fight. The range wouldn't necessarily have to be the bear's leash range (1100) but I think that would be pretty awesome to try out.

Being able to quickly put Tranquil boots on your bear early game (when you only have 1 pair of boots) to chase down a hero would be cool, as would transferring Radiance to the main hero right before the bear dies in a teamfight.

It would be a buff to Lone Druid that would require micro/skill to utilize, and would be a fun mechanic for aspiring Lone Druid aficionados to practice.

I liked that HoN had a hotkey for [taking items out of your/putting items into] stash, as well as selling items.
