I like the suggestion but I understand BK's concerns. Visage is currently my most played and most successful hero so I'd welcome any update to him, but this would make him more favourable to play, which would detract from the novelty of playing him. In addition, the line would need to be drawn regarding UI aids (I'm thinking meepo cooldowns displayed since he's unique too in terms of micro), so the requests for more and more UI help might snowball.

Think of keeping track of familiar damage as a unique facet of knowledge required to play the hero. Much like jungling routes, initiation positioning, brewmaster spirit micro, etc. But if this suggestion does make it in I will embrace it and nice original post too, the effort put in shows.

good idea, but maybe change the colour of the mana bar to something else. It might be kinda confusing when the mana bar isn't actually used for mana.

That which passes beyond the veil must forever stay.

                YES!

This will improve the player's ability to make more impactful decisions.

bad, why can good players do it, visage is a strong hero and strong heroes always come with a trade off, that is whether you can handle it.

This is like an handicap system and is unfair fro all those who coulduse it properly, no one would ask you to go and attack creeps while you know another hero is coming, on the other hand if you didnt know the lion is coming you should not be able to kill him

                        Yeah, like anyone plays Visage.

Joke aside, that would be an insanely good idea.

Visage is a high skill-floor hero, bad players aren't going to pick him anyways. And the above picture is merely an example showing how even if you were good at Visage, how you'd get fucked over because you didn't know which familiar had no bonus damage or not, without having to waste time. Microing the bat stuns is hard enough, do we now have to visually keep track of how many attacks they're dealing? FYI, the familiars attack 0.4 seconds or 5 attacks every 2 seconds. 10 total, or 15 if you get a Scepter. How are you supposed to count how many attacks they make when they attack so damn fast?

The mana bar on the familiars are useless, so you may as well get some use out of them. Alternatively, they could keep track of the Stone Form cooldown, and turn to a different colour when the ability is available.

This is actually the best suggestion I saw at these forums this month =D
You're only as strong as your weakest link.
