Forum Rules

  • [Suggestion] HUD Scale

    Searched the sticky and forums, but didn't find a post on this.

    I've always found it strange that the UI in games like Dota 2 and League don't give the option to scale the HUD down... after playing the game so much, I know what all of these icons are for. I'd much rather have more awareness around my hero.

    Also I'm tired of accidentally clicking on my minimap when I'm frantically trying to run away, haha.

    Pretty simple suggestion... can't really think of anything else to elaborate upon.
    If anyone can think of disadvantages to having this feature, please let me know.

    League of Legends as well as Heroes of Newearth does let you scale the UI down while Dota 2 currently does not support this. I agree entirely, although some people claim that it gives an advantage, but I fail to see that as a proper reason seeing as the lanes and bases in the game are at an angle, not symmetrical. Besides, isn't that what the fog of war is for anyway? I feel like Dota 2's HUD makes me feel slightly claustrophobic.

    And by the way, I have seen several threads with this very same topic.
