      • Personally, I'm of the opinion that if you can get the information through some action (clicking a hero, pressing a button) that there really is no reason to not display that information over the hero. The HoN comparison has already been made: you can see a hero's health, mana, and level above the hero. If you want to see the items that hero has, you click on the hero and that information replaces your item list with that hero's items and displays the other information directly above that. This let's you see your hero stats at the same time. I get the Lion lvl 6 example, but is that 1 minute window maximum in a ~40 minute game really the best use of the UI?

Then at least give us the -ma command back so I don't have to bring up that stupid scoreboard that blocks half of my screen just to check enemy levels.

            • Don't think so, sometimes for example u forget to see the lvl f hero u r ganking and suddenl get killed cuz of that :P Well, many examples, how it affects the gameplay. Adding such a feature will make gameplay easier, but easier in a bad way.

                • +1 I would like to see option in Dota 2 for displaying hero level and mana/hp. This is crucial to attacking other heroes and a vital part in the game as you can determine if it is wise to attack a hero at X level and with X amount of mana. If people do not want it on then it should be a toggle.

this, it actually takes 2 seconds to open the scoreboard. don't be lazy.

                    • useless addon to the top hero panel
just bind "-showscores" for tilde, F2, F3, T, F, G, Caps Lock, Z, X, C, V or TAB if u not use it for change groups in multiple selection

Except that the scoreboard in dota1 doesn't cover half your screen, and using -ma doesn't disrupt your field of view at all. 2 Seconds is a big difference between being unable to see a hook coming, and being able to dodge it.

                        • I feel this should fall under the same category for mana bars. Level indicator should be shown exclusively for friendlies only, as well as creep score for friendlies only. It would be a nerf to ganks if level is shown to all heroes.

                          • Maybe show level only for teammates ... still +1.
