  • Two small suggestions about hero names on minimap

    1. Give an option to display "short" names. For example, NP, bara, dk, spider, bm, am, alche, spec etc.

    2. When names overlap, do not display them one above another.
Put the names far away and use arrows.

Sorry for my noobish ps skills

PS: forgot to change to CM and NP

If this would be implemented... then they have to remove the Hero's faces.
It's a good idea for picture 2... but look at picture you understand a thing that is there?)
It's useful for early game when you stay on your lane and you are maximum 6 players on a lane.
The second picture's arrows aren't helpful showing the direction of the hero... It's very good for Spectating a game, not while playing it.
    This is how Dota2 games should look like! Game 1_Game 2_Game 3_Game 4_Game 5_Game 6

You already can change hero names to be whatever you want in dota_english.txt. If you follow this guide all it takes is running one .bat file to restore short names after Dota 2 patch.
