  • In-Game preferred players list

Lets say that while you are playing a match, you play with a group that you really seem to click with. Would it be possible to have the ability to add those people to a "preferred players" list so that the next time you look for a game, DOTA will see if your "preferred players" are online and match you with them first before filling the other slots? Lately, I have been with fewer and fewer teams that have mics or actually speak my language, so it would be really nice to have this feature and have more of a chance to play with people who would make the game more enjoyable.

Yes, I know that you can add people to your STEAM friends list, but I want those STEAM friends to actually be friends. The "preferred players" list would just be a way to quickly tag people who you like playing with. You can always add them to your STEAM fiends later, or delete them from the "preferred players" list at any time.

I think this feature would really add to the experience and community of the game.

True, that is one way, but eventually your friends list is filled with these DOTA players. This is an easy, behind-the-scenes feature that would do all of that for you. It will auto pair you up with people who are on this list that you enjoy to play with. This will be a way to not have to add people and invite them. This will keep your real friends list less cluttered.
