  • Alphabetize items in shop tabs

Typing the name of an item takes too long and requires you to take your hand off the mouse. Good players will memorize the location of items in shop tabs and use 2 or 3 clicks to get there (which is still more than it would take under the classic DOTA system, but....) The process of learning the location of items in shops will be greatly sped up if items within each tab are alphabetized. It would reduce the learning curve, as well as the number of shopping deaths among both noobs and advanced players who haven't totally learned the system yet.

Are they currently sorted according to anything? Total cost maybe? If so, that's not really a good sorting criterion, IMO. Most players (noobs) don't know the total cost of items, for the most part. Plenty of non-noobs (like myself, for example) may not be familiar with things like that either. This is mainly a change for intermediate players who know or are learning item names and would like to be able to access them quicker.

I realize that this is not completely necessary among players who are capable enough to edit the suggested builds. However, once in a while even such a player may get an idea to buy an item that he or she hasn't included in their build, and will potentially waste a lot of time searching for it. Further, the goal is to reduce the learning curve and remove a portion of the game that is not fun (searching for items.)
