      +1, i played dota 1 for years and remembering items was too easy. I've been playind dota 2 since november 2011, and i still don't remember what is where. I knew that something is wrong, but i couldn't tell what could that be. This is it! Do it Valve!

            looks nice but there's a more efficient grid menu already in the game

              I would like to suggest to add hotkeys for each section.

              For example

              1 = Consumables
              2 = Attributes
              3 = Armaments
              4 = Arcane

              Then just TAB to go to upgrades. This will make buying with hot keys much easier.

              If you wanted to buy a quick mana pot before dying you can quickly hit

              "B" (or whatever your shop button is) -> 1 -> Q

              I really like this layout!

                      this way you can buy items very fast even if you are new to dota2
                      as u already know where you should put your mouse to search for item that you want
                      it gives you squared space about 256x192 so you just move mouse x 0-256px and y 0-192 for 12 items rather than 64x640
                      in current columns you need to move between 0 and 640px on y axis

                                This would be a great "legacy" option, similar to the legacy hotkey option.
