    I like using keyboard to buy stuff, it makes it a bit more efficient e.g. I click [courier] [shop hotkey], R, 4 and voila! Boots on courier.

    However it can be a pain sometimes. E.g. when I want to add Blink Dagger to quick-buy, I need to stretch my hand all across the keyboard for Shift and =.

    I wish we could customize shop hotkeys to drag the most needed items "up" into the 1, 2, 3 etc. as opposed to -'s and ='s, similar to how you customize your
    "hero recommended item build", essentially creating a "custom shop build" that you can load at the start of the game.

    PS: I'm aware this can probably done through autoexec manually, but I kinda wish I could do it in-game and save different shop hotkeys for different heroes.

    p.s.: there is a shift key on the right side of the keyboard too. no stretching needed.

      That's not how it works. I keep my left hand on the left side of the keyboard for most things (I believe most people do). If I get ganked while shopping with left hand, for instance, I can quickly press ESC then react with skills/items (QWER, alt+QWEASD), if I move my hand to the right shop (right shift+hotkey), it's far more awkward if I need to adjust to something else happening, not to mention it takes much longer to adjust.

      Valve have already implemented custom "recommended item builds", why not implement custom "shop"? Surely it's only a few hours of coding/testing (maybe less) with the payoff of making shop interface a lot faster to use.
