Not actually a dota2 error: While i was playing, i connected a Logitech G700 mouse and it stopped reacting to pointer actions, later i noticed another window in the backgroind saying mac didn't recognized the new keyboard, i selected japanese keyboard and it worked again.

            Dota 2 Errors experienced:

            - Game crashed once when switching Desktops with touchpad gestures.
            - Hero select screen appeared smaller at top-left corner (exactly 1/4 of screen size), so i could see the map before choosing hero.

Playing on a MD101CI/A MBP (HD4000 IGP), with 10.8.4 osx, and runs pretty playable at full and lower settings.

IDK how to get the app logs, if you need more details about the errors please tell how to get it.

Regards and ty for this release =D

No errors in my macbook pro 2012 non retina, but if you have hot corners active in osx the game doesn't block then , hope you can do something

              great job making the game.

I just bought the new MacBook Air today (with the new Haswell CPU) and was looking forward to play Dota 2 on my new Mac. I tried both on OSX and on Windows 7 running Parallels.

                Windows 7:
Okay performance in -omg mode spamming spells with Invoker - average 40-50 fps on low settings - slight fps drop when multiple spells. Even when I enabled some settings, the new HD graphics and haswell CPU did quite good.

                Mac:
On low settings: quite bad performance: 11-30 fps average - even less when a lot is happening on screen. The models are looking quite blurrish - even though i tried to change the resolution to 5-6 different settings (16:9, 16:10, no borders, different resolutions, etc.).

Anything you want to know? Just ask

                Specs:
                1,3 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor
                Turbo Boost 2,6 GHz
                Intel HD Graphics 5000
                4 GB RAM
                128 GB flash hdd
                1366 x 768 pixel oplÝsning

Edit: Forgot to say that I am more than happy that Valve finally released a Mac client. Looking forward to playing it on the native OS(X) not having to run it through Parallels. Keep up the work.

My friend has a hunch that maybe the steam overlay is causing a drop in FPS. Testing it now.

EDIT: Doesn't seem to make much of a difference. Still can't get above 20fps.

I have the same system but with a 1GB 6750m, 16GB of RAM and an SSD...and can't even get a solid 30fps, where on the Windows side with the same settings I'm at 55-70fps.

Experiencing FPS dives after a few minutes of gameplay. Game runs pretty smooth to start with though - not quite as good as running on the same laptop in Windows.

Me too, I'm with you all the same configuration, 8g ram 250ssd 30 fps is not stable, but also very bad
