    "First Blood" patch

    http://blog.dota2.com/
    http://www.dota2.com/firstblood

    thoughts?

    TL;DR:

    No new Hero
    No ladder
    No guild system improvement
    No open lobbies
    No custom maps

Else, I'm glad to see that we see some of the wanted features like Captains Draft and Local Play.

    In other words, no patch.

They will improve 2 DotA 2 times in a year. Maybe to 2040 it will be done.

"Beginning soon, users will be suspended from Dota 2 for 30 days when external tools attached to Dota 2 are detected by the Valve Anti-Cheat system"

I guess the next step would be to scan autoexecs.

    LAN - Great
    CD - Amazing
Bugfixes - Most meaningful list in months

    Great patch.

    However,

Looking at how far we've come, and how far we have still to go, It's a shame that this is going to be considered the best patch we've had in months.

i didn't say it's bad, it just barely contains anything the community is asking for.
At least you can now directly write to Valve's dota2 dev team (or has that been there for longer?)

    this, this and this
a few people coming on forums aand wcrying about ladder doesn't constitute a majority. and its usless investing time in something untill a major part of community wants it.
