[Fixed] Bloodseeker with speed >522 (Thirst) escapes Slark pounce / kinetic field

I certainly didn't discover this, I've seen it mentioned several times, but it doesn't seem to have been reported here.

    Summary

If Bloodseeker's speed becomes greater than 522 due to Thirst, he can run through kinetic field, or away from (an already-landed) pounce.

    Reproduction

Get Bloodseeker up to > 522 speed with e.g. 3 points in Thirst, Boots of Travel, Yasha, and 1 low health enemy (this particular combination gives 524).

Try to use Disruptor's kinetic field or Slark's pounce to hold him in place.

    Result

    He isn't held in place.

    Expected result

    He is.

Problem is we have no way of knowing the "Expected result" as there is no Wc3 version to compare it to.

Take a look into the mirror! You think you are completely unfailable. With your limited knowledge, you think that you know more than someone who is very deep in the matter/an expert.

According to the changelog, all Thirst is supposed to do is make it possible to have higher speeds. There's no intrinsic reason why higher speeds should break these spells.

You don't need wc3 to compare, the new thirst does not grant you anything that should prevent these skills from stopping you.

how is this a bug? those spells are coded so moving fast enough can get rid of them. just previously there is no hero can pass the speed limit by "walking".

It's a bug insofar as there's no reason to believe it's intended.

And still noone can. At least for leash its 100 units in 0.03 seconds, which translates to 3333ms. I have yet to see a bloodseeker that fast in an actual game. and im not even sure if kinetic field even has a speedlimit

bloodseeker moving very fast is like storm ball lightning. You can get out given speed. So this is more a discussion of balance than bug, imho.
I'm sorry Valve, but the only way I know how to coach players is with tough love.

We all play for fun, try hards are just WAY BETTER than you. Read this.

Storm is invulnerable during Ball Lightning. This is not the same. Every skill that takes a speed limit which gets reached by BS should break. If not, not.
