Thread: Most melee heroes' attack sound is cheap and bad

    some sounds (65%) need remake yeah. This is a big turn-off for me when playing / watching.

    I think more oomph is needed for some heroes (earth shaker, axe) but some with the shorter weapons (bounty hunter, am) it fits perfectly as is.

    agree, wish every hero will have his own attack sound that differ from others

    Alchemist. Punch. You can't hear it at all. Maybe if you have a giant subwoofer there is some deep sound. But where is the contact THWACK, CRACK! This isn't a pillow fight, there are bones in them knuckles.

    A lot of impact sounds are very weak in this regard.

    Some are bad, some are just fine. Maybe consider adding what you are hitting as well. Slicing a Dragon Knight, Enigma or a fuzzy bear should sound very different.

    I hate the sound of Spetre's hits... sounds more like misses.

    I like this idea, multiple sounds for different heroes. They already made LOTS of voice sounds for each character, so this wouldn't be too hard.

    im already used to this, but it would be great to modify them towards players preferences
