[Confirmed] Rubiks Fire Remnant bugs

rubik after using fire remnant after hes dead the remnants still there even after its disappear but the area still got vision


Repro:
1. Steal Fire Remnants as Rubick
2. Place some Fire Remnants
3. Lose the spell (eg through dying, or stealing another spell)
4. Wait for the remnants to expire


Result: When the remnants expire 45 seconds after being placed, they will leave a dummy unit behind, which provides vision until destroyed.

Expected result: Either the remnants instantly disappear upon losing the spell (since they do not work anymore anyway once the spell is lost), or make them expire properly.

Do Ember Spirit's remnants disappear when he dies? No.

Only permanent effects get dispelled when Rubick loses the spell. You don't lose Elder Dragon Form for example when you have it active and steal another spell.

I think the OP is saying that the spirit still gives vision after the spirit itself times out (which specifically happens when rubick dies). The weird interaction is that when rubick dies he loses the spell, but it might be coded that ember spirit keeps his remnants when he dies.

talking about permanent effects, that "rubick stealing morph" bug is still unfixed...

Nice found, which is a bit easier than mine about that bug; the one i found needed rubick to steal an other spell, then fireremnant again, then wait for the fireremnant of the first stolen fireremnant to expire.

Your can be reproduce much easier in a true game.

I was playing Rubick (Match id 1830281878) and i had stolen Fire remnant from Ember spirit. I had placed a remnant on bot rune.
I then stole another ability and noticed that the fire remnant was no longer visible but still gave vision through out the match. I
Do not know if this is normal or not so thought i should report it.

i watched rubick stealing remnant from ember - he created a remnant but never moved there using active remnant

after some time i got to the position where he created the remnant and its kinda still there...

well i wasnt playing rubick so i cant say if it would have been possible to activate remnant there... but when he created it u could see the burning rubick remnant (as it should), but after some time, when the remnant already expired (no burning rubick remnant to see), there is still a point on the minimap and its clickable (my selection, located top left of PL)
